REVIEW: Hakii Fit Wireless Sport Earbuds – Best wireless headphones for running?

Read my review of the wireless headphones, Hakii Fit, which are brilliant for running and other kinds of sports.

Hakii Fit Wireless Sport Earbuds is a set of 100 % wireless headphones designed for running and other kinds of sports. Here is my review.

Improved version of Havit Earbuds

Hakii is a sister brand to Havit. And these Hakii Fit are actually a further development of the super popular Havit Earbuds.

Left: Hakii Fit Wireless Sport Earbuds. Right: Havit Earbuds.

Compared to the classic Havit Earbuds, the Hakii Fit has been updated with a new sound chip, so that you get an even better sound. You also get touch buttons instead of push buttons, and an improved antenna and placement, ensuring an even more stable connection. In addition, the Hakii Fit Wireless Sport Earbuds come with extra accessories, which makes it possible to wear them in 3 different ways.

Smart charging case

In the box there is a storage case that also functions as a charger.

The case is made of hard plastic, and I think you can really feel that it is of a great quality. It has a magnetic closing mechanism and on the outside, there are small LED lights indicating the battery level.

The Hakii Fit lasts about 3 ½ hours at medium volume. But thanks to this charging case, you get 14 hours in total, before the case has to be charged. It is charged with a micro USB cable. You can also use a wireless QI charger, if you have one of those.

The charging connection is magnetic, so the Hakii Fit clicks into place. You can pick it up and turn it upside down without the wire falling out.

When I take the headphones out of the case, they automatically connect to your smartphone. So, all you need to do is to put them in your ears and get going!

Supreme fit – never falls out

But before starting to use them, I would recommend using 5 minutes to test the different settings and find the best configuration for your ears. Having done this, they then fit you impressively well.

You can see the accessories that are included in the box here.

My own setup is called long wing, long wing, medium earbud, large earbud. So, you should not assume that your ears are identical.

Can be worn in three different ways

If you are looking for extra security, so that the earbuds do not fall out, then you should use the included ear brace.

You can also add the soft silicone band. It is a nice setup if you often put them on and off, and if you want to be able to wear them around your neck, such as when you are in an office etc.

But for sports and running I personally prefer the “lite” setup, where you just wear them in your ears. The earbuds fit me perfectly, and I have never experienced that they have fallen out. Not even when I try to make them fall out.

Excellent sound

The sound of the Hakii Fit is really, really great. Almost absurdly great, if you take the price of the headphones into consideration. They have a great bass, great depth in your music, and even at max volume the sound does not become distorted.

Easy to control your music

It is incredibly simple to control your music. You just use the touch buttons on both earbuds.

A single tap pauses the music. One more starts the music again. When I tap and hold for 2 seconds on the right one, it skips song. Doing the same on the left makes it jump back to the previous one. A double tap activates Siri for an iPhone and Google Assistant for an Android.

The only function I think some might miss with the Hakii Fit is the option of turning the volume up or down directly on the headphones. Because you cannot. But luckily the Hakii Fit has a built-in microphone, so you can just use Siri or Google Assistant to do exactly that.

And you can actually give it quite complex commands. You can say “Increase volume”, “Decrease volume completely”, or “Set volume to medium” – and it will then do so.

And if you do not want to use all this smartphone stuff, then you can of course just adjust the volume on your mobile. I often carry my phone in a running belt or in a pocket if my running tights or shorts have a good pocket. In both cases, it is very, very easy to find my phone and turning the volume up or down without having to take the phone out.

Headphones that work with Garmin Music

If you have a Garmin watch with built-in music, then the Hakii Fit works excellently in collaboration. I have tested these headphones for quite a few weeks by now, and not once have I experienced a problem with the connection to either my phone or my watch. It all runs smoothly!

Phone calls with Hakii Fit

The built-in microphone also means that you can use your Hakii Fit for calls. And this works well. On the front, the Hakii Fit has also been updated compared to the Havit Earbuds, as it now has new chip set, which includes improving its noise cancellation technology when taking calls.

And, if you want to use it as a hands-free headset, then you can just put on one of the earbuds and leave the other one in the case.

Conclusion

All in all, I must say that I am hugely impressed with these 100 % wireless headphones by Hakii. The sound is great, the connection is stable, the fit is excellent – what more would one want?

Hakii Fit Wireless Sport Earbuds is an extremely strong guess for what is going to be the best headphones for running!
