TESTED TO MILITARY STANDARDS
The watches in the Garmin Fenix 6 collection are ultradurable and have been tested to the military standard MIL-STD-810G.
Garmin believe that the watches can be certified at the highest standard when it comes to Height (Low Pressure), Rain, Humidity, Drop and Freeze/Thaw. (At this time, the test has yet to be finished).

Garmin Music turns your watch into a music player. With its internal memory of 32 GB, you can store MP3-files and offline playlists from either Spotify or Deezer (with a premium subscription) on your watch.

Garmin Music now has certain streaming services pre-installed. All you need to do is to log in on your premium account and transfer the music wirelessly with the built-in Wi-Fi to your watch and then pair your wireless headset with your watch.
GARMIN PAY
Garmin Pay helps you pay wirelessly at payment terminals, just as you know it from contactless credit cards.

Running Dynamics requires extra equipment. It can be measured either with the Garmin HRM-RUN 4 heart rate strap, the Garmin HRM-TRI heart rate strap, or the Garmin Running Dynamics Pod.
BUILT-IN WI-FI
The Garmin Fenix 6 collection has built-in Wi-Fi, giving you a quick and easy way to get software updates, to upload your training data, or you transfer your music wirelessly.
SATELLITE CONNECTIONS
The Garmin Fenix 6 collection can connect to three different kinds of satellite systems. With the Fenix 6 collection, it is now possible to connect to the American GPS satellite system, the Russian GLONASS satellite system, and the European Galileo satellite system.
With the three different options, you have the best conditions for the most stable satellite reception, no matter if you are running in the woods or a closely populated area.
ULTRATRAC MODE
With the UltraTrac mode, you can extend the battery life of your watch for when you are doing an adventure race or on a long training trip that lasts for several days without having to find a power outlet.
The UltraTrac mode reduced the frequency of the satellite signal of the watch. The gyroscope helps register your speed and any altitude increase, so that the watch only looks for a signal when necessary.
LIVE-TRACK & GROUP-TRACK
Live-Track gives you the option of sharing your position with your family and friends when you are training or competing.
You can stay in contact with your training buddies with Group-Track during training or a competition and send them small pre-written messages and positions to your teammates.

CONNECTIONS AND TRANSFERRALS
The Garmin Fenix 6 collection can transfer data directly to your smartphone with Bluetooth.
Garmin has now opened up for using Bluetooth with third-party units, so that you can pair a third-party wireless headset with your watch or a third-party heart rate strap.
Garmin’s earlier watches were only compatible with their ANT+ heart rate straps.
QUICK-RELEASE
