Upper
The previous version of the 1080, the 1080 V10, was pretty much perfection. The changes New Balance made to this new version was therefore minimal. Why change something that works?
They redesigned the upper, with a new, more flexible and breathable material than the 1080 V10. More air is therefore allowed to pass through, keeping your feet cool and comfortable during your run.
Midsole
With the 1080 V11 midsole being the same as the V10, further development of the popular Fresh Foam has happened. Contributing to increased cushioning, enhanced softness and a more energetic rebound; the Fresh Foam X is a more polished version.
The laser perforations on the lateral side give the shoe a soft and luxurious comfort that makes this running shoe and its predecessor the most shock-absorbing 1080 ever.
Outsole
The V11 outsole is also identical to the V10. Designed with strategically placed zones, it provides a dynamic run.
The shoe contains a durable rubber material that secures the durability and traction necessary for a run on a firm surface.
