Saucony Omni is the brand's stability shoe for everyday road and pavement runs. The series is designed for runners who roll inward upon landing and need more support than a neutral shoe offers. Omni has consistently delivered for runners needing support and stability , and the shoe aims to simplify running. It ensures the foot lands stably and moves smoothly from landing to takeoff, run after run.

The support comes from Saucony's HOLLOW-TECH system in the rearfoot, keeping the heel centered during landing instead of allowing inward roll. This is noticeable without the shoe feeling stiff, as the forefoot remains flexible for a natural takeoff. It's a more classic, corrective form of stability than the soft guide systems many newer models use.

The midsole combines PWRRUN foam with a PWRRUN+ insole on top. The result is cushioning firm enough to maintain shape mile after mile, but with a soft initial feel when stepping in. The stack height is 35 mm at the heel and 27 mm at the forefoot with an 8 mm drop, a familiar level for a stability shoe for daily training.

The outsole is XT-900 rubber, Saucony's most durable rubber blend, covering zones that typically wear first. Along with a slight rocker geometry, it provides smooth transitions from heel landing to takeoff, even on wet roads. The upper is engineered mesh with reinforcements and a firm heel counter that locks the heel without squeezing the instep. The fit is structured and precise with room over the toes, and Omni typically runs true to size.

Omni suits runners at all levels, from beginners with need for support to experienced runners who know what their foot requires. If you've experienced discomfort in ankles or knees while running, the structured platform often makes the difference between a good and a tough training week. The shoe is also available in multiple widths to accommodate a wider forefoot.

If you're looking for a neutral running shoe from Saucony without stability elements, Saucony Ride is the closest alternative in the same price range. It has the same calm character for everyday running but without rearfoot support, making it relevant if your running style is closer to neutral.

Omni, however, is not the shoe for intervals or competition. If you need something faster alongside your everyday shoe, it makes sense to read our test of Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 before assembling your shoe rotation.

If you want to fine-tune the support further, you can combine Omni with an insole , matching your arch. This is especially relevant if you're used to running with an orthopedic insole or if you want more arch support than the included PWRRUN+ insoles provide from the factory.
