GARMIN FENIX 9 - KEY FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
Fēnix 9 is the latest model in Garmin's award-winning series of advanced multisport watches, designed to help athletes and adventurers achieve their best performances. The watch comes in three sizes: 43, 47, and 51 mm, all with AMOLED display and a titanium back cover. The screen is up to 15% larger in viewing area without increasing the case size, and the OLED versions have a brightness of 3,000 nits, significantly higher than the fēnix 8 series' 1,000 nits.
MORE FEATURES AND LARGER MEMORY
Storage has doubled compared to its predecessor, so fēnix 9 has 64 GB memory, twice that of fēnix 8. The watch also has a built-in speaker and microphone for voice commands, and the built-in LED flashlight now includes a green light setting in addition to white and red, better preserving night vision. There's also a new ComfortFit fabric strap for all watches.
ENHANCED NAVIGATION AND MAPPING
Navigation is updated with a new map engine. Panning on the map is 30% faster than on fēnix 8, and the maps feature a new perspective view in addition to the classic bird's-eye view, as well as real-time routes, popularity routes, and next-turn navigation. Another new feature is , a function that compiles multiple activities over up to 92 days into one comprehensive story of your development or experiences, shared for free in Garmin Connect.
BATTERY LIFE AND DURABILITY
Battery life is among the best in its class: the largest model, 51 mm, offers up to 29 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. The watch features scratch-resistant sapphire glass and leak-proof buttons and is dive-rated to 40 meters, enduring both everyday and adventure challenges.
TRAINING AND HEALTH
Fēnix 9 builds on Garmin's known strengths: TopoActive maps, HRV status, sleep coach, and a wide range of activity profiles, now supplemented with improved stamina metrics, helping athletes better understand and adjust their endurance training.
