GARMIN FENIX 9 PRO INREACH - KEY FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Garmin fēnix 9 Pro inReach is a multisport watch in titanium with built-in LTE and satellite connection, allowing you to send messages and share your location without your phone. With an active inReach subscription, you can send and receive texts via Garmin Messenger over both mobile networks and satellites, call other Messenger users over LTE, share LiveTrack with family, and get weather forecasts directly on the watch. Garmin Locate lets selected contacts see your latest position, and the interactive SOS function sends an emergency message to Garmin's 24/7 Response center.

SIZES AND DISPLAY

The models are available in 43, 47, and 51 mm and as inReach Solar in 47 and 51 mm with MIP display behind Power Sapphire glass, where solar charging extends battery life on long trips. AMOLED versions have brightness up to 3,000 nits, and the 51 mm model has the largest AMOLED display in the series at 1.5 inches.

BATTERY LIFE

Battery life follows the other Pro models, as the inReach connection does not change the watch's physical size or battery capacity: 43 mm offers up to 10 days in smartwatch mode, 47 mm up to 18 days, and 51 mm up to 31 days. Using LTE and LiveTrack actively during an activity naturally drains the battery more compared to regular training mode. InReach Solar models can extend battery life further with good sunlight exposure.

TRAINING, NAVIGATION, AND HEALTH

Apart from the connection, it's the same watch as the fēnix 9 Pro with a titanium case, sapphire glass, over 100 activity profiles, TopoActive maps with route planning, HRV status, LED flashlight, and 10 ATM with diving rating to 40 meters. The watch also has extended stamina data with stamina zones and curve, a full package for indoor rowing machines with VO2 Max and power curve, and extended rucking features. The new Garmin Epic function combines multiple activities into one comprehensive story with health and performance data, which can be shared with family and friends. The built-in LED flashlight, like on other Pro models, has a green setting in addition to white and red, which better preserves night vision.

WHO IS FENIX 9 PRO INREACH FOR?

The watch is relevant if you run, hike, or go on adventures in areas without mobile coverage and still want to stay in touch with the outside world. Be aware that LTE and satellite functions require an active subscription, and coverage varies by area.
