Garmin HRM-SWIM is the pulse belt for swimming in the pool. The HRM-SWIM pulse belt is extremely comfortable about the chest and is slightly wider than the regular heart rate belts, to better fit the chest when in direct contact with water. The strap has a soft silicone edge, so it does not slide down while swimming. The pulse transmitter is fixed to the strap and by peeling off the blue plastic ring, the battery can easily be replaced. The transmitter has built-in memory to store information about your heart rate and will send data directly to the Garmin  when you get out of the water.
