GARMIN ELEVATE™ WRIST-BASED HEART RATE MONITOR

Garmin Vivosmart 4 features a built-in heart rate monitor on the wrist. The optical heart rate monitor is flush with the back of the watch. The optical heart rate monitor sends light through the skin and measures the pulse through the blood vessels in the wrist.

PULSE XO SENSOR

Garmin Vivosmart 4 is the first activity tracker from Garmin with a built-in Pulse Xo sensor, located on the back of the watch along with the optical heart rate monitor. 

The Pulse Xo sensor assesses the blood oxygen level, which can help estimate overall health and fitness.

The sensor works by sending light through the skin, thereby measuring the blood's oxygen saturation.

ADVANCED SLEEP TRACKING

Garmin Vivosmart 4 measures your sleep rhythm while you sleep. Along with the Pulse Xo sensor, it also assesses the blood oxygen level, providing you with more detailed information about your sleep and overall health. Turn this feature on to measure SpO2 at night or activate it anytime to measure oxygen saturation.

With sleep tracking, Vivosmart 4 measures light and deep stages, as well as REM stages. The watch monitors your movement pattern while you sleep, collecting data about the night's sleep, which can be viewed in the Garmin Connect Mobile App, where you can easily and clearly review your sleep activity.

BODY BATTERY™ ENERGY MONITORING

VO2-Max is a value that tells how your fitness is. As your aerobic shape increases, your VO2-Max (fitness level) will rise, and gives a clear indication of your level of form.
