The ADIDAS Solar Control offers a lot of room in the forefoot. Here you can spread out and really feel at home. If you can not make the most of all the room, then there is no need to worry, since the midfoot is held nicely in place by the lacing system, and the heel is well protected by the padded heel cover. The perfect combination of room and support.
ADIDAS Solar Control - Great for the long distances
ADIDAS Solar Control is a shoe I can wear on my longer and slower paced runs. I love the support and comfort it provides, and feel like when wearing the shoe I can just set off for miles and miles. This is a shoe that allows me to just keep going.
The BOOST foam in the heel provides a pleasant feeling of soft shock absorption when I land on the ground, and my foot is nicely guided to help ensure a natural foot movement. My running experience is summed up by comfort when running in the ADIDAS Solar Control.
Comfortable and stabile high mileage running shoe
The midsole in the Solar Control consists of 3 components: the soft, bouncy BOOST foam, EVA foam as a stabilising platform, and finally ADIDAS' Linear Energy Push plate. The BOOST foam ensures soft and pleasant comfort. The EVA foam provides a solid platform that stabilises your foot and guides it through your foot movement. The Linear Energy Push plate provides extra stability, while helping to propel your foot forward with each step.
The combination of these reasons provides a really good shoe for long distance sessions. You should however feel comfortable when wearing the ADIDAS Solar Control on both your longer and shorter runs.
ADIDAS Solar Control – which category does it belong to?
The ADIDAS Solar Control is a proper high mileage running shoe. It is classed in the same category as the Asics Kayano and the Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2, ie. a good shoe for longer distances with extra focus on stability, support and not least comfort!
