In recent years, Craft has designed several interesting running shoes that have primarily been intended for ultra-running, trail running and competitions, but there has not yet been a high mileage running shoe that has been able to perform at a high level. Not until now.
The Craft Pro Endur Distance is a really stylish high mileage running shoe that boasts a ton of the latest running technology. Craft has designed a midsole material that is very similar to Pebax, which is typically what is used in the majority of the fastest racing shoes on the market. It is a great material to make running shoes with, because it provides high comfort and good return energy in a very light package.
Craft Pro Endur Distance - PX Potential
Well, the Craft Pro Endur Distance has been given Crafts PX-Foam in the midsole, which really is just a dream to run in. In my opinion, Craft has done everything it takes to make a fantastic high mileage running shoe. The Pro Endur Distance has a low overall weight (256g in men US9, and 214g in women US7½), has a foam layer that ensures good shock absorption and high return energy and comfort, and I am convinced this shoe will last for many miles. Craft has made a genius decision in incorporating their PX foam in the shoe.
The upper is made of a thin and breathable mesh material that is actually surprisingly firm. It is not easy to get your foot into the shoe the first time, but once it's in, your foot will sit securely and snugly. Particularly the area around the heel is reasonably firm, it holds well and provides a good feeling of support. In terms of size, the shoes are a bit large if you follow the EU sizes, but the US sizes are very accuracte. I tend to be a US 9 and Craft US 9 fits just as it should.
Craft Pro Endur Distance - For those who want a stylish lightweight high mileage running shoe
On the outsole of the Pro Endur Distance, Craft has placed rubber in the areas most prone to wear. There is no layer of rubber on the entire sole, because that would make the shoe too heavy, but the amount of rubber that has been used is sufficient to both ensure a good level of grip on the ground, as well as ensure the shoes don't get worn too quickly.
If you want a lightweight daily trainer that gives you an amazing feeling of comfort when running, the Craft Pro Endur Distance is just the thing for you. There is no need to be worried about the fact that this shoe does not belong to one one of the big brands, because with the Pro Endur Distance, Craft has really been able to prove that it is a running brand worthy as being known for making some of the best high mileage running shoes on the market!
