Finally! Something very exciting for all those who like a little extra support in their running shoes. For the first time, the words superfoam and pronation shoes have been combined. And that's why Saucony Tempus is something quite special.

Saucony has made Tempus quite clever. They have mixed their PWRRUN PB foam with their regular PWRRUN foam. Here they use PWRRUN PB, which is Saucony's superfoam, to give the shoe lots of softness, bounce, and energy return. The regular PWRRUN, which is firmer than PB, is used as a frame around the PB foam to provide stability and a bit more support on the inside of the foot.

In this way, Saucony has managed to make a truly exciting, light, and not least fast supportive running shoe that can be used for most purposes.

Saucony Tempus

Saucony Tempus - Lighter and softer

If you compare it with other popular volume training shoes with pronation support, it is significantly lighter. Saucony Tempus weighs just 260 grams, whereas the most popular shoe in the category, ASICS Kayano , weighs around 300 grams. And it can clearly be felt.

The reason Saucony Tempus is so light without sacrificing comfort is that the PWRRUN PB foam covers large parts of the shoe's midsole. The foam is both softer and lighter than the classic foams found in regular volume training shoes.

Saucony Tempus is essentially a volume training shoe , but it is so light and versatile that it can actually be used for all your runs if you are used to a classic stability shoe like an ASICS Kayano or a Saucony Hurricane . Because it is much lighter and much more responsive and bouncy than volume training shoes typically are. In short, Tempus is more fun and faster.

Saucony Tempus - Support and grip

The upper on Saucony Tempus is relatively padded and therefore comfortable. There is a supportive band along the middle of the foot that keeps the foot in place while also supporting it. Besides, it is quite classic. It fits nicely on my foot, and I haven't experienced anything on it that has bothered me.

Another reason Saucony has been able to keep the weight down on Tempus is that the outsole is made without a full layer of rubber. The rubber is placed strategically in areas where wear is typically greatest. So you don't have to drag around too much outsole rubber. I've only experienced good grip, and I'm also convinced that the outsole will be able to handle many miles.

If you want a completely fantastic volume training shoe with pronation support , you should definitely buy Saucony Tempus. In my opinion, it really is a gamechanger!
