Li-Ning Discovery
The midsole is constructed using Li-Ning's "Light Elastic Technology", which consists of TPU foam. The foam is incredibly soft and comfortable to run in, and the outsole is made of the durable "Tuff-RB", which provides great grip on both dry and wet asphalt.
If you want a neutral shoe with good shock absorption that can be used for both high mileage training and tempo running, then the Li-Ning Feidian Discovery is a good choice.

It is actually illegal to run in for elite runners (according to IAAF guidelines), as it features 2 carbon plates, but for regular exercise lovers, or anyone who enjoys training, it is great fun to run in. The shoe's construction gives a springy sense of suspension, and the way the shoe supports the foot makes it feel very protective, especially for the feet!
Li-Ning Feidian Shadow

Li-Ning Feidian Challenger
The shoe features a built-in carbon plate, which runs two thirds of the length of the shoe from the forefoot. This means that the heel does not contain the carbon plate, and thus this area of the shoe is much softer in terms of ground impact.
The upper features a thin design, and the outsole consists of the highly durable ”Tuff-RB”, which provides great grip on both dry and wet road surfaces.

- Pebax midsole
