Berlin Marathon 2022 Race Report - The race of all races

It is by no means a coincidence that taking part in the 42 km long Berlin Marathon is on the wish list of many runners. The route is flat as a pancake and has been home to many world records and personal bests from all over the world. The same weekend that Eliud Kipchoge cut 30 seconds off his own world record, I also tried my hand at running the world's fastest marathon route.

Berlin Marathon - A completely unique race

Running a Major doesn't start at the starting line. The race starts right from as soon as your start numer is placed in the shopping cart. So when I was given just one month's notice that I was going to run through the streets of Berlin, I did everything I could to prepare for the best possible race weekend.
