GARMIN PAY - Pay with your watch - This is how it works

Find out how easy it is to make payments with your Garmin watch via Garmin Pay. We have tested Garmin Pay, and we are very excited. See the video and read the review here!

Garmin Pay is an ingenous system ingrated into the latest Garmin watches making it possible to make contactless payments just like we know it from contactless credit cards.

Garmin Pay is for the individual who is always on the go and wants a flexible payment solution at hand. Now you no longer need to bring your credit card or your mobile on your run, i.e. if you want to drop by the bakery for coffee and morning bagels on your way back from your morning run. And you also no longer have to worry about your credit card and mobile when you do your daily shopping - as your watch is always at hand.

Garmin Pay works really well!

At Lø we have tested Garmin Pay through the last months - and we gotta say that it works exceptionally well! Its easy, effortless and works perfectly. In the video at the bottom of the article, you can see for yourself how easy it is.

Danske Bank, Nordea and Jyske Bank are for the time being the first banks in Denmark to offer their customers the use of Garmin Pay. But more banks are expected to be added to that list soon.

In this link you can see which banks and credit cards currently support Garmin Pay

Garmin Pay currently works with the following watches: Garmin Vivoactive 3, Garmin Vivoactive 4, Garmin VenuGamin Forerunner 645, Garmin Forerunner 645 Music, Garmin Forerunner 745Garmin Forerunner 945Garmin Fenix 5 Plus serienGarmin Fenix 6 serien, Garmin Instinct

Garmin Pay - How to use it

In order to use Garmin Pay, you have to add your credit card to ”Garmin Wallet” in the Garmin Connect Mobil App. Its very easy which you can see in this video:

When your credit card has been added to Garmin Wallet via Garmin Connect, you only have to access the control menu of the watch by pressing the button to select Garmin Wallet. A 4-digit code (which you have chosen) have to be entered and then you can put the watch on the payment terminal. I usually put in the code when I am standing in line anyway and then I am ready when its my turn. UPDATE: After the latest Garmin update its no longer necessary to enter the code every time you have to pay. If you have entered the code once, you don´t have to do it again the next 24 hours.

In the list you´ll find the watches which support Garmin Pay.
