Adidas Adizero Boston has gradually established its name in the world of running shoes. And not without reason. Its a versatile and neutral running shoe and a phenomenal racer.
Its the first time I have tried Boston and I am not sure if I am smitten by the design. But its a racer which meets a lot of the demands that I have for a racer.
Listen to my experience of ADIDAS Adizero Boston 9 in the video below.

ADIDAS Adizero Boston 9 has the coolest design
The design is really so cool. I really love it. The white color is always a huge hit when it comes to racers. And I think the summer-like colors around the heel, the inside and the complete midsole just provides an enormously feminine and fast expression.

Boston 9 has an updated upper
If you have tried the previous version of the Boston-model, you will notice that Boston 9 has been designed with a new upper which is lighter and provides a great fit.
Unfortunately I did not test the shoe in warmer conditions but I can just imagine that the upper is going to be very comfortable when your feet heat up.

Its super breathable, so I am thinking, it will be incredibly easy to cool your feet. And in that way you avoid your feet to swell up too much if you are really sweating during your race.
I am especially surprised about the heel cap. I heard that it was supposed to be quite unstable. But I experienced the opposite. For a racer I think it provides a solid hold around your foot and I didn´t experience slipping around in the shoe regardless of the pace.

A midsole made for speed with ADIDAS Lightstrike and ADIDAS Boost
And in terms of speed, the Boston midsole really provides a big help. I clearly had to get used to the fact that the stack height wasn´t very high, especially in the forefoot as you have gradually gotten used to massive stack heights in running shos in general!
But having said that, it has a great touch with the surface and great control when you turn corners, change direction or run on more wet surfaces.
In order for a shoe to do well as a racer, it must be enormosuly responsive but also provide great comfort. And Boston 9 lives up to that. The Boost midsole provides great responsiveness and propulsion while the new, lighter Lightstrike-foam ensures great and soft comfort.
Many people associate Boost with insane softness as you know it from ADIDAS Ultraboost among others. And it is also soft and very responsive, men Boston 9 also has an integrated Torsion System between the heel and the forefoot which I certainly think helps to keep the foot stable.

Durable outsole designed with Continental-rubber
Last, but not least, ADIDAS have gone out of their way to design a durable racer. The outsole is lined with Continental-rubber, which should make the shoe very durable but also provide a terrific grip on wet as well as dry surfaces.

ADIDAS Adizero Boston 9 is perfect for pace and short races
During my training I thought Boston 9 was perfect for racing and intervals and for short races. And even if its said to be able to handle races as far as marathons, I wouldn´t go quite that far. Personally I would miss more comfort just because I know how hard the last 8-10km of a marathon can be.
Nevertheless, its one of those shoes which provides an enormous boost of confidence when you put it on for the first time. You feel fast - even when you are tired.
Its not a shoe which will weigh you down. It wants to move forward, and its responsive midsole, light upper and fast design does everything to accomplish that. You have just got to be ready and then Adidas Adizero Boston 9 will help you reach your targets and set new records.
