Best On-ear products:

Check here for products that rest on the ears, not in them.

BOOM MIINI by Miiego

BOOM MIINI by Miiego, as the name suggests, is a sibling to the BOOM series. Weighing only 155g, it's among the lightest headsets. Its lightness makes BOOM MIINI incredibly comfortable for on-the-go wear, unlike heavier headsets. The design of BOOM MIINI is simple and sleek. The fit is narrower compared to BOOM ANC by Miiego and BOOM by Miiego.  In terms of sound quality, BOOM MIINI offers the same award-winning sound as the rest of the BOOM series.

When you purchase BOOM MIINI, you get two types of ear cushions: one for everyday use and another for sports. Swapping cushions is a simple "twist and turn" process.   BOOM MIINI is exceptionally user-friendly. The headset connects swiftly via Bluetooth to your device for music control. One impressive feature is the battery life, lasting up to 21 hours!

BOOM MIINI by Miiego is an on-ear headset for those who value simplicity, sound quality, comfort, and usability.

Havit On-Ear Wireless Headphones

If you can't find earbuds that fit, try Havit On-ear wireless headphones. The headband stabilizes them behind your head, and they rest on your ears. Wireless and Bluetooth-connected (Bluetooth 5.0), they offer up to 16 hours of battery life and easy controls on the side. Overall, a practical product with good sound and functionality.

Top picks for high budgets

For the ultimate experience with no budget restrictions, consider these;

BOOM by Miiego ANC

The amazing BOOM by Miiego now comes in an updated "ANC" version with Active Noise Cancellation. I've used the 1st gen BOOM by Miiego at the office for over a year and loved them. But the new BOOM by Miiego ANC raises the bar. Concentrating in an open office can be tough, but the Active Noise Cancellation feature effectively reduces background noise. Whether listening to music or not, there's more peace with BOOM by Miiego ANC.

BOOM by Miiego ANC is wireless, with an impressive 22-hour battery life with ANC on and 36 hours without. If needed, they also work with a cable. The sound is outstanding, with deep and crisp tones. The best thing about BOOM by Miiego ANC is the interchangeable ear cushions, making it an All-in-One product for all needs. At the office or traveling, I use the soft leather cushions. For running or activity, I switch to the breathable mesh cushions in 5 seconds. They can be washed if necessary. It's simply brilliant.

BOOM by Miiego won two major international awards in 2019: An ISPO AWARD for Best Sports Headphones and a RED DOT DESIGN AWARD. In 2020, they won for best sound!

For "Over-ear" headphones suitable for daily, leisure, and sport use, BOOM by Miiego ANC is unbeatable.

If you can do without Noise Cancellation, BOOM by Miiego is still an excellent choice.

SHOKZ OpenRun Pro

Another high-budget option worth highlighting is SHOKZ OpenRun Pro. These "Open-ear" sports headphones use unique Bone Conduction technology. Instead of channeling sound via eardrums, SHOKZ OpenRun Pro transmits it through the cheekbone. It sounds odd but works incredibly well! The headphones vibrate slightly at high volumes or with bass-heavy music, but you quickly get used to it.

SHOKZ has won numerous international awards for their innovative headphone approach. SHOKZ OpenRun Pro is ideal for running since it's unsafe to be completely isolated from your surroundings in traffic. SHOKZ OpenRun Pro leaves the ear canal open, allowing you to hear your surroundings while enjoying your music or podcast. It's smart! With nothing on or in the ear, SHOKZ OpenRun Pro offers unmatched long-term comfort. The bass can't match over-ear headphones like BOOM by Miiego, but the sound is impressively good! For outdoor enthusiasts or frequent commuters, SHOKZ OpenRun Pro is a no-brainer. No other headphones offer the same fit, sound quality, and safety combo. They're just fantastic!

adidas Z.N.E 01 ANC

adidas enters the headphone market with these Z.N.E 01 ANC. As the name indicates, the headphones come with "Active Noise Cancellation", which aids in delivering great sound and focus. Battery life is 4.5 hours, making it approved for training. Sound quality is key, and we wouldn't include a product in this overview if it didn't meet high standards, which it does, especially the bass in adidas Z.N.E 01 ANC is truly a pleasure for the ear. The headphones are compatible with both Android and iOS.

Best choices for low budget

If your budget for buying headphones is lower, we recommend:

W7 by Miiego

W7 by Miiego is a really good and sharp product for the price. Weighing only 10g, W7 by Miiego are the lightest headphones from Miiego so far. W7 by Miiego consists of two in-ear 'buds' connected by a thin wire, adjustable at the neck with a small clip. This allows you to easily adjust the fit, whether you prefer a tight or slightly looser fit. On the wire is a small control panel with three buttons from where you can manage all headphone functions.

Despite its small size, W7 by Miiego has an extremely long battery life of up to 12 hours! This is quite impressive considering that W7 by Miiego with its simple outward appearance doesn't seem like much. It's hard to imagine that such small, lightweight headphones can contain much sound. Here, I was truly surprised. There is good bass in the headphones and the sound doesn't crackle at all, which can sometimes be the case with small, minimalist headphones. It just proves that bigger isn't always better.

I've run a lot of miles with W7 by Miiego without having to stop to adjust the headphones. The good, clear sound and the many options for adjusting comfort make W7 by Miiego, in my opinion, a high-quality product at a very low price.

Havit Earpods TW916

When buying headphones in this price range, expectations must be limited. But these Havit Earpods TW916 provide a very reasonable sound quality for the price. Compared to more expensive models, the bass is notably lacking. But for audiobooks, podcasts, and regular music playback, they work more than fine.

Havit TW916 are 100% wireless in-ear headphones, connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, eliminating annoying cords when running. They also feature a built-in microphone and touch-control media button, making operation very simple and easy. With gentle taps on the sides of the headphones, you can easily switch tracks or answer calls. The fit of the Havit TW916 is ergonomically designed for comfortable listening for everyday and sports. Additionally, Havit TW916 is very lightweight, ensuring they sit well in the ears while running. Lastly, you can charge the headphones on the go with the small, smart charging case. With Havit TW916, you get a lot of value for your money. In my opinion, a good buy at the very low end of the price scale.
