There has only been very few updates but it has just made Peregrine 11 even more amazing in spite of the fact that the predecessor was a superb all-round trail shoe and one of the best in the market.

Which type of trail is Saucony Peregrine suited for?
Saucony Peregrine 11 is a neutral trail shoe fit for all challenges. Its ideal for slippery and hilly trail, moderately technical routes and very muddy paths with rocks, roots, gravel or similar obstacles. It also works well for short transfer stretches on asphalt.
You get an all-round trail shoe with a unique fit, a superb comfort and a terrific grip.
Updates from Saucony Peregrine 10 to Saucony Peregrine 11
Peregrine 11 has completely the same outsole and midsole as its predecessor.
Saycony Peregrine 11 - Same powerful outsole
This means an outsole with 5mm lugs produced in a very sticky rubber mixture providing a terrific grip on soft as well as hard surfaces. So, if you are looking for a trail running shoe for very soft surfaces, Saucony Peregrine 11ST is a perfect choice.
Saucony Peregrine 11 - same comfortable midsole
The midsole provides a really pleasant and incredibly light running sensation and the versatility of the shoe is most evident in the midsole.
The shoe feels very cushioned and comfortable for long trail runs, but at the same time it feels incredibly light and fast when you want to up the pace.
Regardless if your pace is fast or steady, the midsole is very responsive and reacts quicly to changes in the surface. In addition the rock-plate embedded in the midsole will protect you against branches, tocks, etc..
Saucony Peregrine 11 - a new amazing upper
The upper features the only update to Peregrine 10. And if you thought the upper was amazing in Peregrine 10, then you should wait until you have tried the Peregrine 11.
An extra hole provides the option for improved and more precise lacing to make you feel more locked in and secure in the shoe. Extra padding has been added to the tongue providing a soft and pleasant fit over your wrist. Also the heel cap has enjoyed further padding to provide the ultimate feeling of comfort.
In total, the Peregrine 11 upper is terrific, extremely safe, comfortable, breathable, flexible, protective and durable.
For the runner who is looking for a light, fast and versatile trail shoe
And as Peregrine 11 is so light and comfortable, it will appeal to a wide selection of trail runners. It will appeal to the beginner, who hasn´t tried trail running before as well as the experienced trail runner. It will also appeal to the trail runner who wants to get a little dirty on his runs or the trail runner who is looking for a great trail shoe which can handle all distances from 5 km to a marathon.
