If you need an incredibly comfortable and luxurious trail shoe for your long runs, New Balance Fresh Foam More Trail V2 is just the right shoe for you. The shoe is more or less a similar version to the extremely popular New Balance Fresh Foam More v3.
I was lucky enough to get a chance to try out the New Balance Fresh Foam More Trail V2 and its just simply so comfortable from the moment you step into it until you get to test it on the trail.
For someone like me who doesn´t venture out into the most technical trail, I don´t need a trail shoe designed specifically for this terrain. I need a comfortable trail shoe which also provides a really good grip.
The Vibram outsole makes sure this isn´t a problem. The Vibram outsole is one of the updates made from version 1 to version 2. Vibram doesn´t cover the entire outsole but has just been inserted into the most exposed areas.

In terms of comfort, the midsole has also been updated as it has been equipped with Fresh Foam X to provide optimal softness and cushioning. And if you are yet to try out a New Balance shoe with this midsole, I would strongly recommend it.
As earlier mentioned in my previous trails shoe reviews, its important to me that I can run from home out into the woods without any discomfort and that makes this trail shoe a great choice for me.
Now on to the small things that forms the identity of this trail shoe. The toe section is equipped with a so-called ”Toebox” which protects you against minor blows on the front part of your foot and also prevents dirt and pebbles from penetrating the shoe.

The heel is equipped with a great, strong handle which makes it easier to put on the shoe.
It also has a great design and a number of colleagues from Løbeshop/Runningxpert would also love to use it as an everyday shoe thanks to its cool look!
In total, a perfect trail shoe for me.
